The car finally rolled into my shop tonight. Here are some quick pics. This car is clean and original. Interior is excellent original except for the shifter? Cool car. I will get more pics and info soon. For some strange reason the car vin is 335632 and the vin on the block is 335633. Misstamp?

Thanks Charlie. I need to do a little cleanup and go through the numbers but it sure seems to be an incredibly solid original car.

The radius at the top of those rear stripes does not look right. No black on the rockers either. Repaint?

Could be. I won't know more until it gets cleaned up. It is definitely old lacquer and I see no tape lines though.

as I stated earlier...it seems as though the stripe ends are taped and there is not the typical overspray on the stripes in the cowl area..and now with these photos, it seems the same in the trunk area..
does not seem original paint i.m.o.

I love the shot of the original POP and the fingerprints under the left edges of the tape. Run those prints and maybe you can find the dealership employee that originally sold it. (If he has a criminal record, of course).

Cool car!
