Brett Favre's truly one of the best players ever,no matter what team he plays for.I hope he continues for years to come.

Regardless of how this year turns out, it has already been a success. We finally have the answer to the question "what would this team be like if we only had a decent quarterback".

Favre is much better than "decent", but a decent quarterback was the missing link for this team.

Living in Idaho all we have is the Boise State football team but hey it's awesome! The Vikings have been on TV almost every week as far as our local coverages go. I have been following them with my wife. Back in '91 while on business in S. Dakota I scored on 2 tickets to see game 7 of the World Series. Homer hankies and all! Never forget the game or the crowd. Twins won in extra innings.

Sure hope Brett can get them back to the big show this year!

I had a cheap camera but took about 15 pictures and finally got one of the winning hit! I want to say that it was Chuckie Nobla (sp) on third that came in to score the winning run. Anyways I have a color 8x10 of the winning hit, framed with my ticket stub, and a brass plate I had made with the date, etc.

Best dam game I have ever been to. Still recall all the crazed fans high fiving me as we cleared the stadium and hit the local pubs. Fun times!

Green Bays head honcho's were stupid to get read of him.(you don't tell this guy he's going to set the bench to Arron Rodgers)
And they knew he would beat their A$$ why do you think they traded him outside there division to the Jets.

Bret screwed his old team the Packers by retiring then not retiring and stringing them along. They were left with no choice but to go with Rogers which has worked out pretty well for them. Bret didn't exactly work out in NYC either. Vikings appear to have a strong chance to go some in the playoff this year as long as Favre holds up. He's still immature and self-focused, but at least has more talent (football smarts) than Cutler.

jmho of course
