I was there too...looking at the dealer installed 427 Chevelle....think they had that font in 1967 on a typewriter in a dealership in those days???

That is some interesting dealer paperwork on that '66 Chevelle stating "supply and install L-72". To put that solid-lifter engine in front of a Powerglide just seems wrong and I can't believe that the dealer didn't advise against that.

Weren't there a few factory 427 PG Corvettes in 66 or 67?
I would also figure if there was a dealer that "made several" of these 427 conversions he would be on the map and not an unknown... The car is NOT an SS with the 136 VIN, the entire story is filled with hen's teeth.
