Lot S218.... 1970 Chevelle LS6 "Survivor" just sold for $80K. This was an awesome car.

The deal of the auction in my opinion was this beautiful 1970 Cortez L78 Nova.... 4 speed M22, completely all numbers matching sold for 37K. That was a steal for this car!!!

I chatted with Steve Bimby today at the Mecum auction and I must say he's doing some remarkable things with the new 2010 Camaro. I left my camera home today but I did have my phone...never used the camera on the phone before but I did snap a couple of shots and they didn't turn out half bad. Steve is just a terrific guy and I always enjoy talking with him..... I wish Steve the very best of luck in all of his Nickey Chicago endeavors, and from the looks of the things he's doing with the new Camaros I think he's gonna do just fine!
    I saw Ken (Kwhiz) Tibor today also, great to see you Ken!
