He ended up meeting John Calley (sp) over at Porter Chevy in Cambridge (raced a black 63 over at Thompson Speedway) and he worked his magic on the cars

Well an amazing update to report .... the two 61 vettes are alive and well ! The RPO 353 is in Florida and believe it or not the RPO 354 is located 25 miles from me .... just insane. I have gathered a bunch of cool day one photos along with some more paperwork and the original owner’s manuals. I think there are a few happy vette owners tonight

The location of these cars were from an anonymous source so please don't ask how they were located - thanks in advance!

-----"Porter Chevrolet". Theres a dealer name I have been trying to remember. Porter had one of the 201 65 Z16 big-block Chevelles. It was yellow with a black gut and no vinyl top. It was still at the dealer in 66 as I almost bought it. Car was priced pretty cheap but my Mom said "why get a year old car?) so I passed. Wonder what happened to it???.........Bill S
