Must have hit the rear gas tank and ignited.
I lost my brother in law to an auto accident a few years ago. All it takes is just a split second and then it happens. We were coming home from camping this weekend and some young lady was texting when I was turning left. She did not stop at her stop sign and I barely missed her. I asked my wife what the heck was that and she said that she saw her texting on her phone as she ran passed the stop sign. Sorry to hear this news. Sad. |

Driver who caused the crash was a 77 year old female.. I'm sorry, but you see more and more elderly people involved in crashes. I think once you hit a certain age the driving requirements should become more stringent and it should be mandatory that you pass another test or your license should be taken away!! There are too many elderly people that should not be on the roadways.
I have nothing against the elderly and some are fantastic drivers, but there are some that just have no business driving and are literally a moving "time bomb" waiting to injury or kill themselves or someone else.. I ride a motorcycle and see this quite often.. Driving is a privilege not a right..... Rich
