It all depends how much you can get it for. I use to buy it for a buck a pound. Then it was $10 bucks and so on when the EPA did their thing. I personally would convert to R134 or the equivalent for serviceability. I have been in the refrigeration/HVAC service industry for 30 years and found it just plain easier to play by Uncle Sam's rules. If your cars A/C is apart or you have a leak then it would be a good time to get into the 21st century. Just my 2 cents.....
