[ QUOTE ]
The SS Camaro was already designed etc. It is probably going to be built. [/ QUOTE ] This has been confirmed. All the engineering work for the possible return of the Z/28 has also been completed. It's when it's time for performance tweaking that things won't change. Anyone who wants the greatest Corvette ever built should be picking up a ZR-1 because your not going to be getting anything better than that for the next 10 years minimum (that is if GM is even around much longer).

[/ QUOTE ] GMPP will continue to sell parts just as they have during the last 40 years. Parts will just get a bit stale as we move forward because no new engineering will be done in house. Having said this, is anyone really disappointed in the LSA and LSX engines currently available?

[/ QUOTE ] Hylton, I understand that. since you seem to have the Pulse- What is the projected impact to the production equipment that is performance related compared to the writ of the article? True or not? If true When? This year? Next year? Immediate? Camaro? or the entire GM line? LS-3 as the biggest engine for the forseeable future in Camaro?? Clairify if you can. ![]() |

Looks like perhaps a mixed bag... We will see. Not all that bad after all. Perhaps Edmond's has the Pulse
![]() Here: http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do...ticleId=142386 This comment "But, Muniga emphasized that" "all high-performance projects are on indefinite hold." gives me the feeling that any future plans for a Z/28 could be at risk however. |

[/ QUOTE ] That's about it. Think of it this way, if it's already out there and it is still selling, it will stay. They will not be stopping production of any performance part that is selling well. It's just that they will not try to improve the efficiency or performance of the LS3 (etc.) anymore then it already is.
