Awesome photos and stories Jeff. Thanks to you and your family for sharing them. Really brings back a lot of memories. I also have posted photos of the black Yenko Chevelle and Hugger Orange Camaro at the Grove.

Happy belated Birthday as well!!!

That was me!! That may be the only surviving invoice from that dealer as it was only open for a short time.

Cool pics and paperwork. Thanks for sharing

By the way, that invoice is dated 9-13-74 which was Friday the 13th and my 13th Birthday, how cool!!

since im in kind of a "scanning mood" ill post some more old stuff, mostly misc. pictures of stuff.

and just to let you guys know, my dad has quite an extensive collection of T-shirts too. from NHRA event shirts to old crew shirts to manufacturer shirts. like Holley, Strange, Crower, stuff like that. all NEVER worn. maybe a few worn but mostly new in the plastic....probably in the 100's.....

Great pics Jeff!
Thompson Chevy was on the corner of Addison & St. Charles in Villa Park.
That was my hometown dealer, that I spent many hours at and bought three cars & many parts & memorabilia from. That soon became Larry Roesch Chevrolet, but then moved to thier Bensenville location shortly thereafter.

I think Payton Chevrolet is where Gary Langs Auto group is today.
And of course Long Chevrolet in Elmhurst...Pie in the face for timmy!
