I ran a Man-A-Fre 4 - 2 bbl manifold on a big block back in the early seventies - It ran surprisingly well. It's not like a log style manifold, its a direct port manifold. It ran 4 Rochester carbs - I think they also made a 6 - 2 bbl version.
I have seen them on E-bay go for over $500 - without the carbs or linkage. The linkage alone goes for over $100 and is still available new for about $150.  -  -
