When the engine was rebuilt we did our best to make the new paint on it have patina, and I replaced the awful 1980's M/T valve covers with original 67 GTO chrome ones, and also a "seasoned" Cal Custom air cleaner as you can see. Other than a good bath nothing has been done to the paint in over 20 years. I'm sure waxing it would make it nice and shiny, but it looks so cool like this I left it alone.
