If coming from NW, Davenport (Quad Cities). Only bridge between Quad Cities and Burlington is Muscatine - about 50 miles north of Burlington (US34). So, if coming across US 34 in Iowa, Fort Madison is still best. Drop down off US 34 at Mt. Pleasant on Hwy 27, take exit 19 at Donnellson and follow IA2 east 15 miles to the bridge. By the way, it's a draw bridge so you could have to wait 15-30 minutes if it's open.........
