I really thought Tom was going to beat this.
![]() Tom was nice enough to include my NonSupercar in the Super Chevy/SuperCar Concourse show during July of 2001 at Indianapolis Raceway Park. I was pretty hesitant, but Tom assured me all would be fine and made me feel welcomed and relaxed among the others. He made all who participated that week feel that way and was totally without bias. Afterwards we would bump into eachother at midwest area swapmeets and car functions. His enthusiasm with these vehicles was as strong & great as any of ours here. Once he noticed something was missing from my Chevelle,he promptly had a close friend send it to me,with no questions asked. Our personnal running joke was me trying to repay him for that in many different forms, yet he always saw it coming and would quickly deny it. ![]() I was rivited by his past history & knowledge with cars,as well as the cars he had owned in the past.He recently acquired the 1968 L-78 Camaro that he bought brand new off the lot from Kenny Ross Chevrolet in Pa.,and that was truly a dream of his he always wanted to accomplish. He was always willing to share information and facts with anyone on ANY website. I took this Photo of Toms beautifully restored 1969 Lemans Blue Yenko Chevelle in July 2001 at Indy,as he pulled up and displayed next to me. My condolences to his wife Robin..he was a good guy to know and share with, and I for one will miss him. ![]() |
