Nope, all "belted" tires prior to the introduction of fiberglass cord were nylon cord. Which is, incidentally, how to differentiate an OE E70 x 15 Goodyear WTGT from todays' repo. OE tires have "NYLON CORD" embossed into the side wall, the repos have "POLYESTER CORD". Nylon cord tires would flat-spot overnight in cold weather.
