Lance Hill's BELMONT CHEVROLET sponsored 1968 Pro Stock Camaro defeated all the competition for the title of 'Quickest and Fastest' Pro Stock in Canada at Cayuga in 1970. One of the racers defeated was John Petrie and his Chrysler Clinic HEMI Pro Stocker. The Lance Hill Camaro ran a 465 cubic inch ALUMINUM motor and carried more weight as a result. This proved to be a potent combination. In the picture Lance Hill is on the right and Barrie Poole is on the left. The picture is taken just at the head of the staging lanes.
