We have a customers '71 Z in the shop and the brackets are welded on that car as well. That is the way I have seen them on the 70 and 71 Z/28 models.

I have learned alot from this site... I <u>THOUGHT</u> I knew alot about 2ND GEN Camaro's, but, I guess I have more to learn yet. I am very glad I have become part of this site.
