I did a search on this but found nothing.
On my '70 BM Phase III vette, I need a set of BB chrome headers and would like not to have to worry about the dam things deteriating like the last set did. Their claim about the cooler interior temp sounds very inviting too. I know my car will be a trailer queen to a certain degree but I sure that I will have to be able to cruise it some sat night just to blow the minds of the locals around here. My question is this process chrome looking enought to not degrade the look of the car when I show it. I want the headers to look like they are chrome but the Jet Hot finish looks like it may be just a little duller looking than chrome. Is it going to look like crap on my white Motion car??? The last set rusted to nothing from the inside. I realize it is my car to do what I want with but I don't want to have it look cobbled up either. This looks like the way to go to me. I am sure that I will do it on the '69 car with the headers into the factory sidepipes because they were not chrome when I got the car and they don't show from the outside. I may do them in white since that is what I used a lot back when I was racing just to help keep the engine compartment cooler. I can still remember how hot my feet got at night when I would cruise the restless ribbon as we called Peoria Ave. here it Tulsa. How about it guys? Any input ??? ![]()
