We actually had trouble bulding heat in our L-72 as it got later in the year. The culprit was the stock rebuild (10.2:1 compression) and the added racing fuel. As the air started getting cooler, I had to switch over to running premium (about 90%). I let the car cool for the first round at the Pure Stocks in Stanton, and subsequently lost about 2 mph...the next 2 passes were run with it really warm, and the mph came back.

The next L-72 will be the exact opposite[img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/naughty.gif[/img]!
