'68 Blue Nickey, still in Seattle area? from 84/85

Not trying to get everyone excited here, I new a guy that worked at Lincoln Auto wrecking in Seattle Wa, around '84/85? that had what was supposedly a '68 Nicky, dual 4's, 4 spd, camaro with like 20K on it, I got to know him pretty well and bought some stuff from him over time, he rarely drove the car, it was very nice, he installed a JL8 rear end in it and pulled the orig redlines and ralleys and went with some kind of GM wire hubcaps, he sold it shortly after that due to a new bride and the need for a home, been there done that. anyway the word was the new owner drove the car pretty hard around town and the last I talked to Duan was the motor was hurt?,I dont recall if that was confirmed or just a story to get at Duan, they sold Lincold about this time and I never ran across Duan again or have never seen the car again, just curios if anyone remembers this car and if it is still around.

haveing a clip from the Auto trader when he listed the car for sale: add said, Att collectors show winning '68 Nickey RS/SS Full race package, in street trim, 26k miles 4wdb, much more 21,500, obo, dont we wish we had a time machine!!
