Wow, this thread is a blast from the past for me! Takes me back to the mid 70's chasing super stock points at Eddyville (IA) Raceway.
The pix of Sr and Jr are exactly as I remember them back then. I didn't really get to know Tommy as he was a local hero in the modified classes and I was kind of an outsider from the northern part of the state, but remember he was one of those never at a loss for words guys that everyone idolized. My friends were mostly within the SS guys.
Anyone know where the crash happened?? I seem to remember that, or at least heard of it?
