You are looking at a once in a lifetime opportunity to buy the blueprint for the 1954 GM Corvette station wagon Motorama concept car known as the Waldorf Nomad. When I first found it, I thought there were probably plenty of these floating around the country. Now, after much research, no one I’ve met has ever seen one in person. Even the nice people at General Motors only have a copy of drawing number 34300 on microfilm, not an original hard copy. This is an early copy on the old ammonia paper of the original drawing. These drawings were to be destroyed but apparently someone on the design team whited out anything having to do with GM and made a copy. So…… how did I get it? It was found in the storage trailer of a recently closed Hot Rod Shop near Reading Pa which was in business since the 50s. There was a replica of the Waldorf Nomad built in that area and I’m thinking this shop was involved in the build. I got the blue print in a buy out of the trailer. It was in a cardboard tube which had a label on it from a timer control company in California. The label has since fallen off the tube and I lost it. There is a return address ink stamped on the tube but it is not legible. This is all I know about it. The print measures 30” wide and 120” long. There are a few light water stains but overall, the print is still in good condition. $3000.
