We are geared up to host another awesome event at the fantastic Gilmore Car Museum in Hickory Corners, Michigan, midway between Chicago and Detroit.
We have a LOT going on! MCACN Special Invited Guests section featuring past and future particiapants of the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals show. Special feature cars include the wild 1935 Duesenberg powered Auburn Speedster you saw in our main lobby last November, Presented by The Stahl Museum. 1964 Petty #43 Belvedere joining us directly from the Natmus Museum, Presented by owner Boris Bonutti. 1970 Olds Indianapolis 500 Official Pace Car. Not just a "Pace Car" but THE Pace Car that led the race! Presented by MCACN staffer Jeff Stolowski. This is just a sampling, as we have Pontiacs, Mopars, Corvettes, Oldsmobiles, Shelbys, Chevys, AMC's, Buicks and more that you have seen at the MCACN show over the years. They have combined this show with the huge Mopars at the Red Barn show, so they have a special designated MOPAR area. Donnie Brass, who coordinates our Pure Stock displays is hosting a stellar group of Pure Stock racers. All kinds of great kid stuff, including "Paint the Packard" with a real Packard that the kiddos can go wild on. Art display, coordinated by past MCACN Featured Artist Steven Macy, Special Pick awards and a swap meet too. The event takes place Saturday, June 21, from 9 am - 4 pm. The MCACN special display area is full with over 30 special invited cars representing what the MCACN show is all about. Please join us and bring the whole family! The Gilmore Museum is worth the trip alone, and adding this to the mix makes it even better. If you've never been, you owe it to yourself to make the trek.
