We love the Tahoe but a little surprised on the poor fuel economy. My big diesel bests it by at least 5 gals on the highway. Hey, at least you get to eradicate the rock chips and road rash! I replaced that bumper cover once with an OEM one when my wife pushed the license plate bracket into it.
I recall getting 20-21 on the highway according to the computer. I never verified it. It has the optional 3.42 gear in place of the standard 3.08 which hurts it a little.
The 2024 gets 12mpg around town even with the 10-speed trans. Never gotten better than 17 on the highway. Really disappointed in what GM is putting out nowadays.
