Default Cool MCACN meeting and conversation

Not sure if this is the right spot for this - mod's feel free to move if not, but wanted to share a cool and significant story that has kind of flown under the radar.

In my brief walk around Saturday I noticed that Pat Lobb (significant in the 409/Z11 world) had the restored Dave Colbert Z11 and an aluminum nosed 62 car there on display in addition to some engines. Sunday morning Dave and I were taking advantage of the early vendor entry and enjoying taking a look at the cars and had the privilege of being able to meet and talk with Pat about what he brought. In this conversation he told us the story of finding (with help from our very own Mark Johnson) the ORIGINAL engine for the Colbert Z11 he brought. Talk about finding the proverbial needle in a haystack. He is now in the process of building/rebuilding the original engine and reuniting it with the already restored car.
