1965 Malibu SS, L79, M-20, 3:31 12 Bolt Posi, Original Numbers matching L79 car
1965 Malibu SS, L79, M-20, 3:31 12 Bolt Posi, Tilt Column, Front and Rear Bumper Guards, Factory Tach and Gauge Package, Wood Steering wheel, Padded Dash, Dash Clock, Rear Antenna, Original Hub Caps and Mint Mag Caps.
Original 138 SS L79 car, all numbers matching drive train. 2100 miles since a frame off highly detailed body off restoration. Car is factory Regal Red Code RR and Ivory Interior (Code 792). All original panels, there are no replacement panels or patches in the body. Original floors, trunk pan and rocker panels. The body is as close to perfect as you can get. The car has never been in a accident and never had any rust. Tires are reproduction Coker Redlines including the spare. The original jack is in the trunk. The trunk is also finished with a spatter paint finish. The complete drive train including engine, transmission and differential were completely rebuilt at the time of the restoration and I have receipts for the rebuild. The original shifter was also rebuilt with the transmission. The brake, steering and suspension system were replaced with all new parts, during the restoration as well. The car has won awards including the AACA Grand Master award which is a 3 year process. Few cars achieve this status. It has also won Best in Class at the World of wheels and placed second at Super Chevy Sunday. The interior was also restored and in very nice condition, I have the appraisal on the car which shows the condition of all the interior items condition, see the interior pictures. The last appraisal was in 2015 and was appraised at $80,100. Since the restoration the car has been in collections and seldom driven. The car came up to B.C. Canada in 2003 and the mileage at that time was 1100 miles. I have a copy of the title from Ohio where the car was imported to Canada from and the mileage is on there. Since then only 1000 miles have been put on the car. As far as any little items or flaws in the car, what I have noticed are, the dash clock stopped working. It was rebuilt when the car was restored but stopped about 3 years ago. When you signal to the left, the signal arm does not cancel, you have to lift it to cancel, signaling to the right is good. Lastly there are 2 very small marks on the drivers seat cushion. Nothing at all major but I wanted to point it out. Other than that everything works as they should and it drives and shifts great. I have 3 books of receipts, pictures of the car before the restoration started and during the restoration. A copy of the original ad when the original owner sold the car in 1991 to Gary P. that restored the car. I also have the original bill of sale (letter) from the original owner to Gary P. I have the NCRS report on the car as well as many other items showing the history of the car. I have a few videos of the car running and driving which can be emailed to interested parties, which were taken last weekend. The car is priced at $62,975.00 USD. I am located in Calgary Alberta in Canada and have looked into the process of importing the car back to the USA. I have a transport company lined up which friends have used before. The driver has said he will help with anything as far as the Import process. I also have a name of a car broker who the driver uses in the U.S. who will take care of the paperwork to import the car. A few examples of shipping costs for a door to door service are, Calgary to Kansas or Indiana $2750.00 USD, Calgary to Great Falls Montana $1250.00 USD If you have any questions or concerns please PM me and I will be happy to help out in any way I can.
