Just picked up a factory tach gauge cluster that's been sitting on a shelf for over 30 years. Everything appears to move freely but I'd like to try to cosmetically restore the cluster myself. The back metal plates have some surface rust the plastic lens needs polished and the accessory gauges have a slight bit of surface rust on the face. Has anyone done this on there own or should I just send it out.
