Dave Brian's '61 works very well. Figure he "might" have got in the 8's, but not to be. Not to bad for the OEM headed old girl. Did he have the cast 2x4's or the sheet metal on?
I believe his best is 9.014 in the '61 "white" car. He's a bit faster in his '62 as it's been in the 9's. Like I've said for years, OEM can be made to work very very well. I know he's stock X frame with some add on parts and a roll bar.
