67 Impala Valve Cover Questions

My 67 Impala is a factory 327/275 HP car. The original valve covers were taken off by the original owner years ago and he does not have them or remember what style they were. I want to put the original style covers back on. Were they the Chevrolet Script covers or the ones with the indentation on them in the middle where the engine displacement decal went?? My air cleaner is original and is black colored with a single snorkel and had NO engine decal on it.

If the valve cover used is the one that the engine decal goes on, is the correct decal a generic gold and black colored 327 decal minus the horsepower rating??
