Re: Brooklyn Heavy [Re: Fhakya] JRSully Offline veteran Registered: 12/11/02 Posts: 1497 Loc: Long Island Nice to see a post on this, I grew up about 15 miles east of Brooklyn, and I remember in late 79 early 80 when I was in junior high seeing a 69 Camaro that was at one of the local Amoca stations, it was a SS/RS Big Block (remember blacked out rear panel)Hugger orange with a black hockey stick stripe. It had painted on the side "Brooklyn Heavy", it was set up for drag racing (gutted interior)but was pretty stock, no engine or tranny. I continually asked if it was for sale,owner of the station said the owner was in jail.!!
