New to the site, first time poster, so here goes:
Last year me and my dad bought a 1969 z28 Camaro. We had known about the car for quite a while and it was sitting since 1975. We were told that this car was a Nickey Camaro so I did some research and now I need help. The car was delivered to the original owner with a crossram setup. When we got the car the crossram was gone but the car did have original Bill Thomas headers stamped BH-37. The heads (original) were ported and the lifters were pinned. It had a flex fan, an electric fuel pump, the yellow Nickey/Bill Thomas traction bars, a lakewood scatter shield, and an ET rear end differential cover. Had the NHRA front windshield sticker and a Kar Kraft license plate on the front as well. I requested the "shipping data report" but the VIN is in the range of VINs that are unavailable. The seller did not have the protecto plate but is digging up some old photos for us. I didn't find any build sheets under the rear seat or on top of the tank as it is a Norwood car - haven't looked inside the seats yet. Is there anyway to get more information about this car? It is an early car with no X-code but the VIN stamped on the pad of the DZ 302 matches the VIN on the tranny and the VIN for the car. All components are date matching to the Trim tag, even the rally wheels. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have lots of photos if that would help. Thanks, Kris
