1969 12 Bolt 4 Series Posi Unit 30174

I have a used 1969 4 series 12 bolt posi unit. It was cast on the 101st day which is April 11th. I believe that the "J" makes it a 1969 and the "E 29" makes it machined May 29.

This unit is for 12 bolt passenger cars with 30 spline axles, 8.875'' Diameter Ring Gear.

Since it is used, I would have it completely gone through.

I also have set a very hard to find of 1969 dated 4.10 gears. Ring part number is 3862526 dated 3/69 and the pinion part number is 3862514 dated 4/69.

They do have some pitting on the teeth but I've talked with a few people who said that they will work fine although they may howl at certain speeds. Most definitely should be fine for a car that isn't driven a lot.
