Default Re: One owner 69 rust bucket Copo Chevelle

Ok a friend has located this car and spoke with the owner. The owner says it's not a copo but the motor trans ( 400 turbo) and the 12 bolt came from a 69 copo Chevelle. My buddy looked at the car just a few minutes ago he said has drum brakes in the front and a AC dash but no AC under the hood. Also said has an antenna on the rear quarter panel but the front fender also has a hole for the antenna. He said the body is actually pretty good shape only needing quarters.I'm suppose to meet with him tomorrow or Sunday. What do I need to look for. What would the stamp on the front of the block read to make it a copo block. He did say it's a 69 block and a 512 casting. Help help help
