I might as well let it be known that I found two 70 Chevelle SS 454 cars in a garage in Mass last November. Went to Thompson swap meet and it was the shits. Good if you were looking for a vacuum cleaner or a sweater. So we drove around looking for cars. Looked for a speed shop in the area to at least buy something to take home. We drove 8 hours to get there. LOL. So, I searched for a speed shop in my nav and it directed us to one somewhere. About 30 minutes later after driving to what seemed to be the middle of nowhere the speed shop was in a house. And they had lots of goodies. When I walked in I noticed two SS454 cars one on top of the other on a steel rack. One is green and the other white. one has a 427 in it and the other is still 454. one with buckets and 4 speed and the other auto with column shift. Both in real decent condition and had been there for years. I asked about them and the girl told me that both had to be sold at the same time and the price was 20K for both. I was going to go down and buy them but I have too many cars, so someone else can pick up a couple of real good chevelles. I will post the location tomorrow, I have a business card from the speed shop.
