Default Introducing 1971 CHEVELLE SS Convertible

Finally finished my 71 SS vert after 29 years of ownership, last 4 years of heavy restoration have been a real challenge. Actually debut was 2014 Detroit Autorama.
Finally got it road worthy after installing a second cam,lifters & rocker(all Howards)and removing Mallory distributor unit(school of hard knocks). A good friend rebuilt the original L48,i restored the chassis, ICE NINE GROUP(Macomb, Mi)did the Rotisserie Body Resto & Paint, it took 6 months to put the car back together and another few to get it road worthy.
Still working on concours detailing. Its not a big block but its an all original documented GM Program engine/driveline car with 3 build sheets! See my signature link for pics and more details...
