Can I ask what might be a dumb question---and believe me I am certainly no expert on these cars---but didn't the 300 cars have different tailight housings? Or was that on cars that did not recieve the "SS" option? The cars shown here are WAY COOOOL and VERY WELL DONE. And by no means am I trying to bust anyone's ba##s, just asking about something that I thought I knew.

I just sold a '72 post 442 with a "U" code 455 (NOM). The car wasn't really nice enough for me to keep and not having the original drivetrain was the deciding factor in my NOT restoring it. Rare? YES. But just not as nice as what I like to keep.
