Default Wayne Scraba’s Buford the Buick For Sale; $27,500

Buford and I go back a ways, and we’ve had the opportunity to get well acquainted but as pointed out in the Lounge https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/show...e/0#Post434532 we need to part company so that I can devote time and dollars to my new blog/e-zine/e-book project. Buford will be sold as a rolling chassis (less engine, trans and hood). Buford’s a super low mileage (18,750) 86 T-Type Regal with a pretty healthy laundry list of high quality modifications (most of which, you can’t see). Buford will accept a small or big block Chevy and yes, a Buick V6 (all with a Turbo 400). If you haven’t followed bits of the build (in the above link), check it out. Buford is built to accept big (Big) power, but at the same time, be relatively streetable. Basically, I used the best of the best putting the roller together. I have $18,000 USD in the basic Buick and sold approximately $3,000 worth of hardware out of it for a net of $15,000 (+ or -). I’ve kept records on what the parts and basic outside services (fabrication, machining, plating, powder coating, etc.). Those pieces total an additional $24,588.27 USD (for a grand total of somewhere near $40,000). That figure doesn’t take into account freight, taxes, shop supplies, hardware, any of my own (countless) hours etc., it’s just the basic cost of parts (all of which are brand spanking new). Buford needs to find a new (good!) home, so I’ll use the old cliché: My loss is your gain. I’m asking $27,500 OBO for the roller. If you’re interested, or know someone who is interested, e-mail me or PM me or phone me (on the wet west coast) and I’ll direct you to a link to over 50 photos. I can also share the parts cost breakdown with interested folks. By the way, Buford is currently registered in BC Canada, but is originally a US citizen.

Thanks in advance folks!

Wayne Scraba
