Default Re: '69 Nova trim tag question

M = Green Interior

[/ QUOTE ]

Greg,

I don't think so... Pretty sure that "G" was green... There was also an "S" for sandlewood I believe. I'll check my records this evening and see what I can turn up for "M".

M, or Rowdy Rat, do you remember the tag for that BB car that did not fit?

[/ QUOTE ]

The car was a LeMans blue/black interior L-78 car with an "A2" code. The interior code of "A" fit OK, but the car had NO exterior trim where a "2" would indicate it should have had a body side molding or lower body molding. It was said to be a low mile, original car, but it is hard to say for certain if it was... I don't think, Marlin, Brian, or I were able to inspect the car in any detail because of the setting.

This was the only exception out of a couple hundred cars that I've looked at to this point. I would guess that Marlin has looked at more than I have and can comment on what he has seen.

Regards,

Stan
