I looked through my Kelsey-Hayes Wheel Catalogs from 1983 and 1990. The only information I could find was:
* NWRA number X-40179 is a Kelsey 48752 (although your photo does 58742. That’s odd) * 48752 - in Remarks column, says USE X-40279 * NWRA number X-40279 is a Kelsey 81776 * 81776 in Remarks column shows Obsolete as far back as 1983) I could not find any older catalogs online, but did find this website where the owner says he will try and help find information and part numbers.
