Fortunately my Dad signed for me. Payments were I recall 63.00 a month and I paid every cent of them. It was advertised in the local newspaper classified section. Originally, I was trying to buy a GTO, 69 I believe. It had a 427 stuffed under the hood. Dad had heard a description of it and said he wouldn’t sign because it looked and sounded like a race car.
