Thanks Stefano…Great information! Oldsmobile’s GM John Beltz had major plans for the W-Machines. Sadly the new U.S. governmental emission regulations put an end to the release of the incredible W-43 set for 1970-1971 Oldsmobile 442 W-30s.
As far as the ZL-1 – I remember reading that the L-88 produced a bit more HP than the ZL-1 due to the heat/compression it produced therefore creating more HP.
