Default Re: 1970 Olds 442 W-30, 18k miles, NO RESERVE

Hello everyone!

Fast forward five and a half years...

Dad is doing well, albeit not very mobile these days. Since March 2007, the car has been with it's new owner. I even visited it last year. It's been very well kept and is in good hands.

Unfortunately, February 2010 my uncle Bob passed away. (He was the original owner of the car, and custom ordered it back in 1970.)

I am financially capable of purchasing the car back from the current owner. He has very graciously agreed to sell it back! I'm so excited. Almost emotional about it. Having that car back in the garage would be very meaningful now that uncle Bob has left us.

The owner has requested that I submit a number. I really don't know what this car is worth in today's market. I want to pay a fair price. But I don't know that number.

That is the reason for my posting. What do you guys think this car is worth in today's market? Is it worth more, or less, than back in March 2007?
