I still remember pretty well how I had "my" Nova spec'd out with the salesman. We had everything else picked and approved and left the color to last, which of course killed the deal. It was going to be an SS, 350, 4-spd, posi, black interior, FM and the 5 spoke wheels.
Is it possible that the black on black combo wasn't available at the beginning of production?  Verne

The exact car you outline with the exception of the FM sits not 5 miles from me with the original owner.I see him from time to time so will ask if it was a early car or not.

I know of several black 70 camaros that had special order black paint. I have a window sticker from one of the cars and it was available as an extra cost option.
