Default NF2 duel exhaust deep tone muffler?

On the 1968 camaro, was the NF2 deep tone mufflers an option? was it available all year? was it available for all engines? Thanks

Les,

Yes, the NF2 "Dual Deep Tone Exhaust" (no resonators) was available as an option throughout the 1968 model year on all V8 engines. It came standard on the Z28, but was not available on the 6 cylinder cars.
