Dont know if my comments are welcome here , or elsewhere.
As most of you know, there will be an OUTDOOR MuscleCar show adjacent to SCR8. I have read little to nothing about ANY participation in this outdoor show.
The INDOOR SCR stands clearly heads and shoulders above the outdoor event, but there are MANY cars owned at THIS web site, that would be most welcome and enjoyable to view at the OUTDOOR show.
The St Louis area GATEWAY Camaro Club is hosting the outdoor show........hope that this segment of SCR8 picks up some needed enthusiasm sooner than later...............

I spent a lot of time outside looking at the local cars that came out for the outdoor show as well. Some very nice rides and a great bunch of people that ran that part. Very organized.

I would guess it will significantly bigger this year as well, Bob...I know we've had a few calls from folks looking to haul from a state or 2 away for the outside show, and the GatewayCC guys always do a top notch job...

I agree.
I thought the two shows, within a 50 yard spread, really complimented eachother well last year.

How about the Don Yenko/Sunray DX Corvette tribute car? Talk about someone doing their homwork. A lot of folks spent time checking that bad boy out.

I would love to come and show off the hood that came with my car, but I would have to hitch a ride with someone.
If anybody with an extra trailer space happens to be passing through Columbus, I live only a mile from I 70.
Willing to share expenses. Send me a PM.
Thanks in advance.
Andy

Grady, welcome to this site, I have your book, and it is a good read. Do bring your car this year, fire it up, and come to the track!

I bought a copy of Grady's book several years ago. A very interesting look at drag racing back in the '60s.
