Does anyone know if the 71 Motion Camaro was available in all of the factory colors? I have only seen red and green. What about white or lt. blue? Any help is appreciated............RatPack..............

I believe they were available in any factory color, as they started as either a regular SS or a Z-28 from Baldwin Chev. and then were converted by Motion. The old Hi-Performance CARS magazines were typically black and white so it's hard to tell the real colors. As for the '71's I only know of three reds and one green that are still around.

I sort of thought that they might be available in any of the factory colors that year. One thing though is that I have seen pictures of original Motion cars that started life as a base Camaro because they have the Camaro fender emblem which was not used on the Z-28 or SS. Not sure of which year the car was because it did not show the grill or front bumper in the shot. I am thinking that it was a 73 model since the SS was no longer available but not sure. It had the single stripe on the trunk and the hood which usually indicates it did not start out as a Z-28. Any thoughts..........RatPack............
