Gary is a very resourceful and talented individual. On top of that, one helluva nice guy. A true asset to the hobby

I figured out the dwell meter reading issue - user error.

My dumb@ss had the meter hooked up wrong. I borrowed a friends meter to check mine and he reminded me how to connect it. Amazing what happens when you do things the right way. Anyways.........the dwell is correctly set now (really correctly set) and the car runs great.........so much so that I flung the A/C belt off it on the test drive. Lucky for me I had a brand new spare. Installed the new belt, adjusted the other two, re-installed the ignition shielding and can check the box on that part of the project.

When I get the vacuum switch next week I will get that installed and button up the glove box to finish that project as well.

Shout out and thank you to Tim S. for letting go of these really nice factory head pipes for the car. I was willing to wait for them but he graciously packed them up and shipped them to me. This is the first piece of the puzzle to return to the undercar exhaust as it was delivered.

A little bit of Evaporust and they will look like new.

Remember, proper Evaporust procedures require careful supervision
