In my experience, 60’s carbs did not come with that many ink stamped on the vacuum pod. Looking at the color of the vacuum pod compared to the main body, I imagine is is a replacement. The front metering block is also not original. I would look that one over closely to see what is still original/correct.

Good eye. I recently bought a 70 Z28 and along with the paper work on the car was an affidavit from the original owner (1970-2005). Guy I bought the car from got the affidavit. Anyway, the original owner was Dyno testing the new engine build and he says in his affidavit he switched out the original carb body for this carb body because it flowed better. Further more he goes on to say all the other parts were from the 70 carb. I was not positive if the vacuum pod was also switched or not? I need to check the numbers on the metering blocks and confirm they are for a 70Z. Thanks for the reply.
