One of a few actors I really admired. Lonesome Dove remains some of the best television I have ever watched. Open Range one of the best westerns ever. RIP Robert.

It's like this... If Robert Duvall is in it, it's got to be good! He stated in an interview that playing Augustus McCall in Lonesome Dove was his all-time favorite part to play. May he Rest In Peace.

The Great Santini was a great movie too. Like mentioned above, if he was in a movie, it has to be good.
