Default Upper control arm flex brake hose

I'm restoring a '69 Z/28 Camaro and noticed this! The right (passenger side) upper a-arm uses a clamp/clip to secure the brake flex (rubber) line to the control arm..My driver (left) side does not! Is this correct? Or was my left control arm once changed and wasn't drilled for a clamp to secure the flex hose..Any thoughts?

Thanks Dave
