This is great news, glad to see that forum members were able to put the parties together.

Hi Greg,

Thank you for the donation. I am going to donate $50 (half the $100 donation) to the CRG website/ Kurt S., because he was instrumental making this happen.

Thanks, and glad it worked out!!!!

Yes I know they have spoken at least once but I have no specifics. Neither seems in a hurry but I know Vic sustained a little storm damage recently as our area has gotten pounded with a few rounds of bad storms the last couple weeks.

Fingers crossed for a happy ending!

Holy cow it's been 3 months and these guys finally worked out a deal. Long story short they both have had personal issues this summer causing delays. Kevin even admitted at one point that he forgot about it for about a month. That's how busy he has been.

A verbal agreement was reached yesterday so still some things to sort out. I work in shipping so once the payment has been received I will strap it to a pallet and send it off to the West Coast to be reunited with it's body.

I am pleased to have been a part of this reunion. Hope to maybe even see the car one day...

I will update again once the deal is done. Thanks again to everyone that helped.

$25k

Deal still not done or going according to plan. Fingers crossed for a good outcome in the near future.

Probably best to just let it play out privately. Public comments will just get both sides more entrenched.

As Bergy suggested, let this play out in private.

Please - just stop! Let them work it out. Your friend could wind up keeping his COPO block that’s worth $5k to anyone but Kevin.
